Malleswaram, West Park and East Park Roads between 8th and 9th Crosses is the worst managed due to occupation by illegal Hawkers and vendors creating nuisance, pollution, health hazard, road block and a security threat to residents in spite of repeated complaints and also a High Court Order, due to apathy by enforcement authorities for reasons known only to themselves.
BBMP in CV raman nagar area is the worst ever I have seen. Actually they don't provide any services. Here the roads are not cleaned daily and they are least bothered about the cleanliness. Garbages are dumped here and there on the road side. Gutters are not cleaned, most of the times gutter water spill on the road.
Keep up the good work ! 5 stars * * * * * :) 1. We can ask the shop keepers to ensure their portion of the footpath is clean, maintained as per BBMP / BMC footpath construction guidelines. 2. Share with them where to procure the tiles / cobblestones / slabs to part maintain / up keep the footpath - on a war footing. 2.a. The shop owners can claim their expenses against original bills, every alternate year, for up to 30 % of the taxes they pay.
Garbage clearance is done in some parts by the contractors. But, they take the garbage from one place and dump it in another place. Seggregated garbage is desegregated by the pourikramas. the garbage trucks are dirty and open. The officials, corporators, councillor, inspectors of the BBMP are least helpful when it comes to managing these contractors or punishing those who throw garbage. Street vendors are growing, but the BBMP is not bothered. Roads are in bad condition, but BBMP only talks. Lakes are polluted, but BBMP and BWSSB make only emtpy promises. Do we really need a municipal corporation?

Baavanagudi, Gandhi bazaar, BP wadia road - all these areas there are hawkers. They are on footpaths, they are on roads with carts. While Gandhi bazaar has some dedicated space for the vendors, others do not have. Garbage from most of these hawkers, especially the ones who sell food and cane juice and coconut water, is just dumped on the pavement or the roads. almost every street in Basavanagudi is ridden with garbage. Repeated requests to BBMP to stop this menace has fallen on deaf ears.
