It is the same sad story all over Bangalore. Either it is lethargic or complete lack of serviced from the civic bodies.

There is no organization in India as lethargic as BBMP. One will find garbage all over the streets of Bangalore. In areas like Austin Town, Neelasandra and Anepalya, the garbage collectors collect garbage from the houses and dump it in one corner of the street. This garbage is not cleared for days together. It becomes impossible to cross that particular stretch of the road without closing the nose.

This is an example from just one part of the Bangalore city which is prevalent since quite some time. There are many such areas in the city which have the same problem.

Looks like the BBMP is waiting for an 'auspicious' time to clear this mess.
