The collection is not scientific. All types of garbage are mixed & carried in the open lorries. Some garbage is spread on the way making the alredy clened areas dirty. Handlers of garbage are either not given or they are not using the gloves & gum boots. the collection is almost regular.

BBMP is not collecting any garbage from our apartment. Although we are paying for garbage collection cess while paying property tax, even we are apying Rs.10000/- per month to the agent who is collecting garbage from our apartment. He is also not regular in collecting the garbage

Barring few days in a month the garbage will be collected at doorstep in bsk 3rd stage(pp layout)

I agree with Mr. Sastry commnet. Yes, garbage collection is really a joke in my area also(Munivenkatappa Colony, Mathikere). There is no fixed time to collect garbage. we need to check again and agian, again and again to see whether the garbage collector comes or not. They are not even blowing whistle. If BBMP is not able to collect garbage on some fixed timing/properly then there should be some arrangement of dustbin so that the the resident who missed to give garbage may throw it in the dustbin. We are doing our best but BBMP is not doing there work properly. Fully dis-satisfied with the arrangement made by BBMP for garbage collection. The government should look into this matter if it wants "Swatch Bharat Mission" to be a Success.

We live in brigade gateway apartment and each one of us have to segregate wet/kitchen waste, bio- waste(diaper, etc), plastic, paper, e-waste etc. It is collected separately. Don't know what happens afterwards though :(
