Bangalore Police

Here the culprit is always left loose and the innocent is caught and these people have licence to frame the innocent as per their wish. The police department never frames the BMTC for their dangerous driving but are worried about two wheelers helmetless driving. At several junctions we see them busy in mobiles and chatting inspite of huge traffic pile up at one side and the other side is empty, they lack awareness to clear grid locking of traffic between two roads, inspite of traffic block on one side they do not attempt to stop it but manually create a jam by themselves creating tension and traffic pile up. This is seen mostly at the OTC road/unity Building junction and at the Hudson circle. Long Back at the cost of the tax payers Timers were installed to ease the traffic planning and also save fuel and avoid pollution, but as it increases the comfort of road users they are switched off mostly. This type of atttitude should be penalised.

Money making everywhere, it's become less maintainance of traffic, more making money, do the fine collected really go to the govt.? everyone knows it, they have to do as they pay huge amounts to come to the particular area, for eg. Ulsoor gate: if a two wheeler is towed firstly its taken to a place near townhall which was once meant for public parking now the police and their towing rude boys chase away if anyone come there to park, then the towed vehicles fines if you need challan you need to pay Rs.750.00 or else 400-500 will do and also it can be paid to the towing boys who also earn a lot along with police.
We see the traffic police honestly work only when a politician is passing by or any police official is passing by. Than time every common man is put in difficulty and made to wait even if its peak summer.
Every top official and politicians knows what is happening but who cares??

Bangalore traffic police do good job. There is always a scope for improvement but with rising number of 2 wheelers and 4 wheelers every year their job is not easy, still they manage it well

I think they are doing a fairly good job but extra effort is required. because we Indians are an undisciplined lot, want to cut corners, evade law to the maximum extent. if we were more disciplined half the problems would disappear. at the same time the exponentially increasing no of cars and 2 wheelers on road makes their job very difficult. but tougher enforcement, crippling fines and stiff punishment for law breakers would ease the situation.

The problem is some people do not follow the traffic rules. At Silk board junction in Bangalore, there is free left in Hosur road Banashankari road and Banashankari road to Madivala road , both the junctions are not maintained free. We have to have a system where the traffic offenders are caught redhand and fined immediately. other wise the show will go on.
