BBMP

The garbage collection in my locality is pathetic. The garbage is not collected since last 2 weeks. Repeated complaints ​to BBMP has not yielded any result. Because of this, we are forced to dump the garbage on the streets.

The garbage collection in Austin Town, Neelasandra, Anepalya and Rose Garden is pathetic. There is a huge pile of garbage near the drain behind Infant Jesus Church. Cows and dogs regularly feed on that. The stench created by that garbage is so severe that is impossible to pass through that without closing our nose with handkerchief. Whenever it rains, the dirty water spills onto the road, making it difficult for the 2 wheelers.

In my area, (Shreyas Colony, J P Nagar 7th Phase), garbage pick up vehicle come once in two days. Most residents hang the garbage bags on the gate and wait for the garbage pick up vehicle to come. A few residents flout the rules and dump it little away from their homes, either on road side or in nearby vacant plots. BBMP is doing nothing to create awareness among public with regard to garbage disposal. Bangalore will be free of garbage, only with the full co-operation of residents.
