The coconut avenue road in Malleswaram was dug two weeks ago for laying drinking water pipes. This road is notorious for traffic jams due to the encroachment of foot path by a departmental store and parking of all their clients vehicles in a narrow 24 feet road. Still the road is not asphalt end though the pipes were laid a week ago. Worst coordination between BWSSB and BBMP. The Seshadripuram Police also act as a silent spectator and not bothering about clearing the encroachment and towing the vehicles parked in the narrow road. They are hand and glove with the shop keeper to get their Mamool.
Roads need maintenance on a regular basis and I don't see any action. Suddenly they take up the maintenance within few days in some ares and not in some areas. There are lot of potholes and causes lot of traffic jam especially when it rains It looks we need a 20 year ahead planning till then nothing will change
1. They run in silos. No co-ordination with other departments. This is leading to continuous tarring road and immediately digging it. 2. We can reduce the traffic jams to a great extent by just making sure there are no pot holes at the traffic signals. But it isn't. 3. Service roads on the ORR are maintained very badly. Its a shame we have some many companies and the infrastructure is pathetic.
Roads maintenance is extremely poor. Specifically in my area the Bannerghatta Road and all the internal roads that join it for example from Arakere and Gottigere are in horrible condition. Nearing Nice Road exit on Bannerghatta road there is hardly any road at all. There are big pits not just potholes. There appears to be some effort at maintenance and repair but they are not time bound and takes ages to complete. The contracts must have quality and completion period specifications coupled with stiff penalties for non-compliance. There appears to be none. Hopeless situation. It is costing in terms of lost time, incovenience, ill effects on health, damage to the vehicles requiring costly repairs etc., Why should anyone pay road tax?
Roads are actually not worst,it is . made worst by non co incidence,I mean today THEY put EXLENT tar on roads, tomorrow digging starts on the brand new roads,we cannot blame the road contractors, because they have been allocated work AFTER laborious procedures ,it is the sole responsibility of the concerned departments to see the stages and allocate the job, this digging has become common in almost all the occasion so again patch work will spoil the roads soon after one rain or leakage in the middle of roads. ON HEBBAL FLY OVER THEY HAVE PUT NEW TAR THIS MAY CAUSE SERIOUS PROBLEMS TO CARRYING WOMEN(PREGNANT) BECAUSE THE GAP BETWEEN EACH SEGMENT CONES DOWN AND AGAIN CLAIMS THIS NEEDS ENGINEERING CONSULTATION TO WELD SAME HEIGHT METAL AND FILL THE TAR FOR SMOOTH RIDE ON THE BRIDGE SO HERE The co ordination of civil and mechanical engineering department first involve welding the metal to raise the height then they have to give green signal for dambering to roads filling equal to metal height then there will be safe and SMOOTH ride ( while coming towards airport on HEBBAL fly over) if such PROBLEMS are taken care there won't be bad roads in Bengaluru.
Today he has given a statement regarding : Mr. K Muthaiya , an honest Officer transferred 9 times in 4 years (24 transfer in last few years) He was given a difficult task , Corporation was collecting near about 10-12 crore in a month from advertisement on public place as rent. He claimed that corporation can collect 300 crores from a single ward, it was challenged by the corporation authorities & given him a challenging work. With in 45 days he collected 340 crores from advertisement & claimed that If free hand is given to him, with in these present rules he can collect 6000 crores approx. then immeditely he was transferred from BBMP. On his 9th transfer, he has given a small intervies to a channel in Bangalore, now Mr. George, Minister has given a public statement that he should have not given this type of public statement with the news channel. I have seen the interview, ther was nothing wrong in it. Mr. K Muthaiya claimed that there is a cartel of corruption in BBMP, which does not allow to collect more revenue through advertisement hordings, which he has proved in 45 days, he has been punished instead of reward for that big collection. Mr. George does not feel shame to comment such type of comments, he should have protected his carrier & improved the revenue of BBMP where as the BBMP is struggling for losses or more expenditure & unnecessarily increasing Property tax. Very big corruption is going going on in BBMP. This is going since long in Bangalore as well as in the state govt.. All the Govt(BJP or Congress) should come out of this mania & give a good governance & minister should be criticized for the BAD COMMENTS IN THE PUBLIC AGAINST THE HONEST OFFICER. A VERY FEW OFFICER IN GOVT. JOBS ARE HONEST(HARD HONEST) AT LEAST I FEEL SHAMEFUL FOR THIS PROCESS OF COMMENTING ON COMMENTS
