BESCOM is good in collecting its bills. With each bill one gets the threat that. if the bill is not paid within the specified time, the connection will be cut off. As for supplying power, it can't care less for the customer. Power cut is frequent and un announced. If one rings the helpline 1912 and asks about a power outage, one gets the reply that they will enquire and communicate, which they never do. Almost in every house there is a UPS or generator as no one trusts BESCOM. Looking at the lamp posts on the streets one can see what a shoddy job they do. We have no other alternative but to put up with BESCOM.
