what BMC is doing to keep bhopal or for that matter MP cities safe, where cattle is freely wandering on main busy city roads causing accidents and traffic hurdles etc. How the cattle owners manage to milk them and leave them on roads. The cattle should be confiscated and shifted to govt.run cow shelters etc. & only on payment of huge penalty, the owners, if any forthcoming to take them back, should be allowed, forthwith. Why BMC commissioner is not taking immediate action, leaving apart shifting of diaries etc.out of city limits etc. As a matter of fact no dairy owner should be allowed to leave his cattle wandering on public roads, hence if they do, they have got no right to protest.
Thanks to present management of Bhopal Mpl Corpn who has started garbage collection from homes and vans for its disposal. Still one thing is lacking and that is sweeping of roads in residential colonies. If roads are not swept in colonies, how cleanliness can be expected ? I am residing in Shahpura Colony of the town since last 30 years and have never witnessed any Mpl sweeper grooming the roads of my colony. Our House Owners' Assn is collecting some money and engaging private sweepers for sweeping roads to maintain cleanliness in the colony. This is how our Shahpura colony is identified as one of the BEST colonies in Bhopal city to be adjudged as SMART CITY. My suggestion is that among other issues and plans (for making Bhopal a Smart city), this aspect (getting inner roads of colonies swiped) should be taken care of.
