The hawkers and thela shop vendors have to be told by Municipal Corporation to provide garbage bins near their sale area and organise their it such that customers throw the used polythene and other packing in a dust bin provided there. This requires persuasion at initial stage and strict enforcement gradually. Habits do not change easily but strictness at certain stage is a must.

Firstly, the hawkers & street vendors are located illegally by paying hush money to municipal functionaries. Secondly, they leave used plates and papers all around making the area filthy, but do not make any effort to clean it. Cleaning by municipality is also shoddy.
