The station appeared very clean on 17th Feb 2017. But I felt that this was being done for the GM who was to arrive on the 18th Feb. I always thought that the passengers paid for the salaries of the railway employees and they are the ones to be taken care of more. Though one may say that the railways do not charge enough to avoid losses, but that is another subject to debate.
1. I had not written a complaint, but had requested an officer on duty on that day regarding the 2 pipes from the Split AC units in the AC waiting room which block closing of the windows and hence do not cool the room properly, besides it might be increasing the power bill. Has it been taken care of or not I do not know, but there were instructions flying all over to take care of it.
2. Apparently the tea vendors use smaller cups as on that fateful day I was witness to another railway employee asking the vendor at platform no. 1 that he ought to change the paper glasses immediately as it may be checked.
My request to all (including myself) is that let us be truthful to our work, which serves our other family members too. Bhuj is close to Kutch Vipassana Kendra at Bada and I have learnt that we should fulfill our responsibility truthfully. Let us stop robbing our own citizens. Have we not taken the oath to be righteous, then let us be that. Our PM has been working to do good for BHARAT and we also need to put in our efforts for a better tomorrow for our own nextgen.
