My knowledge of BSNL is restricted to Annanagar exchange . I am very pleased with the fault complaint system . It is attended to within 24 to 48 hours. Every thing is recorded , so chances of truancy is negligible. If the fault is localized they even go to the extent of giving the name and mobile number of the particular employee to be contacted.The office staff and customer service staff are all very polite and patient to listen to our complaints and offer solutions . I am not very familiar with the technical aspects . Yet the internet speed keeps dropping often and the " Upgrade "option is flashed ; this could result in the increase in the bill amount. Very often the internet goes down when rain and water logging . BSNL should. I am giving 3 1/2 stars only for the time being ; I reserve the other 1 1/2 when they upgrade their Technology to offer best services. --- Jai Hind
I am using ACT Internet WIFi for the past two years. Service is satisfactory. They should provide 24/7 service. They claim high speed but it is not provided. According to them download and upload will have the same speed . This is not true. Vast variations are seen.
Their net plan costs are somewhat high. They can make it more affordable so that more people can take to the net. BSNL is very inefficient and mired in heavy losses. Too many employees doing very less work. Balasubramanian
I have been using ACT for over two years. I am absolutely happy with the speed and general reliability (though the service was in a thorough mess during and after last year's rains and floods). I have only one major issue: ACT does not have a 24/7 back up technical assistance service.
The Service of BSNL is poor and the speed of the intenet is not so attactive.

AITTEL has now informed through SMS message the my Internet pack is expired and hereafter the charges will be collected from the main account . How is this method is correct even if we do not use the AIRTEL internet connection after the expiry the pack period? This is ILLEGAL TO COLLECT CHARGES FOR ONE PURPOSE AND DIFFERENT ACCOUNT IS COLLECTED FROM THE MONEY PAID FOR DIFFERENT ACCOUNT? THE TRAI MUST CHECK THIS BAD AND CHEATING ACTIVITIES OF INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDERS. FORTH WITH.
The train is always late by 45 minutes to one hour. The train never reaches in time. Even brindavan Express, Double decker express and labagh express reaches in time . I do not understand the reason for charging higher fare when it never reaches with in the allotted 5 hours and reaches in 6 hours . Moreover, the platform no is changed from 1 to 2 at the bangalore cantonment station in the last minute on many occasions causing considerable hardship to passengers
