BSNL - Secunderabad

When a telephone is disconnected and the wires go missing from the box, any number of complaints only fall on deaf ears. BSNL claims that it is our responsibility to fix the wiring within the residence or the complex; and it is so difficult to get services of electricians to do the job. Finally the BSNL staff manage to do the wiring on the condition of paying them bribe. This is outright corruption. I suggest that the entire job of wiring should be done by the BSNL both inside the house as well as the complex, for which the customers should be charged officially by the BSNL. This will prevent the corruption. My telephone number 04027700006 was disconnected for more than 3 months. Only after paying a sum of Rs.600/- did the lineman oblige to fix a wire and connect my phone. This kind of service brings a very bad name to BSNL. The entire service of wiring, both inside as well as outside the house, should be undertaken by BSNL, at fixed rates, which should be charged in the bill.
