No proper plan, Many villages are untouched and even the garbage can easily be find on phirni roads of villages. Sectors from 40 to 47 are most neglected even the more than 40% of population lives in these sectors.

garbage collection is organised in various sectors by the concerned sector welfare society on monthly payment basis. It is satisfactorily working in such sectors, while in many others it is not done regularly. In fact with the unco-ordinated services for this important aspect of maintaining hygienic surroundings, the "city beautiful" Chandigarh has in fact achieved the distinction of being called " city dirty". I would not hesitate to state that now we are in the process of making our CITIES into VILLAGES, while many villages will put Chandigarh to shame as being more clean.

Lot of improvement is required by proper supervision The Aviser is taking keen interest in improvement ,the machinery at levels below is not doing their job sincerely
