AND OF COURSE MOST BRIDGES ARE JUST IN A STATE OF'LUCKY U SURVIVED TODAY!!" BUT TOMORROW IS ANOTHER STORY COZ ANYTIME ANY STRUCTURE CAN GIVE WAY!! MOST BRIDGES ARE EXACTLY IN SUCH BAD SHAPE BTW.....AND RIVER BEDS JUST DRIED UP AND LEFT AS POROMBOKE LAND!!

MAINTENANCE - IS 80% OF ALLOCATION ACTUALLY BEING SPENT???????????!!!!!!!
AND THEN THE PROBLEM OF UGLY GRAFETI ALL OVER THE WALLS, POSTERS OF RANDOM POLITICIAN FACES, REALLY ABSOLUTELY NOT 'ALLOWED' IN ANY COUNTRY BTW!! BANNERS, POSTERS AND FLAGS ETC. OF ALL THE DIFF PARTIES AND POLITICAL FACES!! POLITICAL CAMPAIGNING BOARDS COULD BE DESIGNED FOR EACH AREA WHERE SUCH CAMPAIGNING CAN HAPPEN!! DUNNO IF RULES AND LAWS CAN BE LAID AND WHETHER SUCH UNRULY CITIZENS WILL ABIDE HUH!! FREE UNRULY CLUELESS MASSES OF A BROKEN AND TERRIBLY PLUNDERED LOVELY NATION!! AS THOUGH 'ONLY HERE' DEMOCRACY IS IN FORCE.........!

The Chennai Corporation has planted forest trees like gundumani on Third Cross Street, C.I.T.Colony. This tree has prodigious roots that lifted up the beam under my car gate entailing expensive repairs. My neighbour's compound wall and veranday wall bear cracks. My gate pillar is affected so that the gate is difficult to close and one can easily jam one's fingers if one is not careful. During the last two Decembers, heavy branches fell down and blocked the access to our residences. Our complaints to the Corporation since two years are unattended. In Decemter 2017 I sent online reminders to no effect. Today I find that a mini-lorry from Corporation came to trim the branches in my neighbour's house. I believed that our complaint was working and gave them drinking water etc. To my mortification. they only trimmed the branches in my neighbour's compound and not in our compound. The complaint was originally penned by me on behalf of self and two other residents. What does the selective attending of the problem for only one of the complainants indicate? These are indications that our illustrious PM has been unsuccessful in his mission of freeing us from Corruption.

There is total negligence on the part of Corporation. Most of the roads are in worst condition. No State Government machinery is working. Digging is very easily done, haphazardly without any concern for the road users.. Traffic conditions are very bad. Sewage water spills on most of the roads leading to breeding of mosquitoes. Garbage, though is collected everyday, still litter the streets in plenty. Stray dogs and pigs make them worse. Entire Chennai is a slum area now.

It is very ugly situation as Road travel concerned. Unclean roads. The traffic is without any rule specially the two wheelers. Even on signal point very dangerous to cross the road. Even on red signal, the vehicle passing through with observing traffic rules. If one has to turn or left he has to wait for the second signal as most of the travelers are stopping their vehicle extreme left or right though they have to move direct route. BY this people find difficult and waits to the second signal. The traffic police must be vigilant and should be penalized heavily to avoid repetition of such act

LAYING OF ROADS. IT IS A GREAT CONCERN FOR SENIOR CITIZENS WHO BUILT THE HOUSES SOME 15 YEARS BACK.ROAD LEVEL INCREASES 6 INCHES EVERY 3 YEARS AND MOSTLY ALL OLD HOUSES ARE BELOW ROAD LEVEL. DURING RAINY SEASON BRCAUSE OF BLOCK IN RAIN WATER WAYS HOUSES ARE FLOODED WITH FILTHY WATER AND OLD PEOPLE ARE AT THE MERCY OF OTHERS.
SO WHEN LAYING EXISTING ROADS IT MUST BE DUG UP FOR ONE FEET AND ONLY TILES MUST BE LAID
