Worst! They don't even pick the phone or provide proper guidance

The stray dog management in Chennai by the Corporation is very poor. They throw the blame on Mrs. Menaka Gandhi, who holds the portfolio of Animal welfare also. All municipal officials and workers , when complained about the menace of stray dogs, say that they cannot cat and kill even the rabbis dogs and kill since the Center minister will hold them responsible. In each Street there are more than a dozen stray dogs roaming about, and causing hindrance and also threaten the ladies, elders, and children while walking in the night. In fact these stray daogs do not guard the locality from the burgers and anti social elements and these anti social activities go on unabated. Hence there is no wrong to control the stray dogs at bay.

I need to give the lowest ranking possible for this. There are still too many stray dogs on streets and even inside the Chennai Railway Station.

That said the only saving grace is that these dogs are not as ferocious as what we see in some other states of India, especially the place from where I come from.

The Stray Dog Menace is increasing day by day as their population is increasing terribly in spite of so called action taken to limit their growth by the corporation as it is not effective it seems.

How human population is growing, dogs are also growing. Unless some orgnisations come to take care of them, the problems do not reduce.
