In chennai cities over the last 10 years (Both DMK and AIADMK),too much of violation right from acquiring land,corruption in approvals,flouting rules,quality of construction,poor sanitation and lack of accountablity and responsiblity on the part of builders and officials.Many people were cheated and honesty,trust and committments are forgotten.People who have no technical background and experience have jumped into this business and spoiled.Politicians had a major share in this business.
Atrocious!

Forget the land lords using the full extend where in cases are there lot of public places disappearing they become flats... first this has to be stopped...

In Palavakkam Periyar street there is building construction going on the road , place encroached by the construction team , they don't give at least 1 inch gap for road building construction , no authority take any action against it

The landlords here in Chennai use their property for the full extent of land leaving not an inch for plants or gardens . Also the concept of single family homes in a 2400 sq.ft of land is gone and people want to maximize their land use. This causes heavy toll on utilities like Electricity , Drinking water and sewer loads . Deviations on house constructions must be dealt with a heavy penalty or even face demolition.
