Traffic management should be improved. Now that the Metro rail projects are almost at nearing completion stage, the diversions arranged at Anna Nagar Shanthi Colony can be withdrawn and all the roads should be allowed to be used for both ways. The Cars parked at the roads more permanently (especially tourist vehicles) should be fined or regulated.

Red light violations, lane violations, helmetless two wheeler drivers, there are so many issues the police are simply doing nothing about.

1. IT IS SITE THAT LIGHT WILL NOT BE WORKING AT SIGNALS. REASON IS POWER CUT. IT IS SHOCKING TO HEAR THIS EXCUSE. IN THIS CASE IT SHOULD BE MANNED BY THE TRAFFIC POLICE WHICH IS NOT. iT IS A DOG FIGHT AT THE SIGNAL JUNCTION.
2. THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF AREAS WHERE THERE ARE NEITHER SIGNALS INSTALLED NOR TRAFFIC PERSONNEL ARE PRESENT. ONE HAS TO WITNESS THIS DANGEROUS SIGHT EVERY DAY BY MILLIONS OF THOSE WHO ARE DRIVING SPECIALLY 4 WHEELER S.
3. UNDER THESE CIRCUMSTANCES A TRAFFIC JAM IS CAUSED ,YOU ARE HELPLESS , YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE GOES UP .MANY A TIME AN AUTO GUY WILL GET IN TO THIS WELL AND EASE THE SITUATION.
4.MAIN VILLAIN FOR CAUSE OF THIS MESS IS POOR INFRASTRUCTURE GROWTH. THOUGH LAKHS OF NEW VEHICALS ARE COMING TO THE ROAD EVERY YEAR NOT EVEN AN INCH OF ROAD WIDENING NOR NEW ROADS ARE FORMED. ON THE OTHER HAND EXISTING WIDTH OF THE ROADS ARE REDUCED DUE TO ENCROACHMENT.
5.IN THE ENTIRE CITY , FOOT PATHS ARE OCCUPIED BY TRADERS AND PRETTY SHOPS RESULTING ,PEOPLE HAVE TO WALK ON THE ROADS.
6. IT LOOKS LIKE THERE IS PROPER GOVERNANCE HENCE THE TRAFFIC SCENARIO IS DETERIORATING EVERY YEAR .

In Bharathidasan colony main road, KK nagar, The RTO- West is located. Many citizens visit the office for services of vehicle registration, License etc. They are part their vehicles on the this road and the Nehru avenue - a street off the Bharathidasan Colony main road. The causing huge inconvenience to the residents particularly old people in Nehru avenue as the road is blocked by these vehicles. In case of emergency even an ambulance cannot go in / out.
More over, there are travel agencies operating in the area who use this road for free parking.
Police should take appropriate action to avoid such nuisance.
As a long term solution, the RTO should be shifted to a location where there is enough space for parking of vehicles.

We request Traffic police department sent one police at least in front of every school for helping the children to cross the main road at school hours it will be very useful . Mostly in government school . thank you.
