Not only the corporation but the Police also to be blamed for the problem of shop owners blocking the pedestrian ways.To mention a few 1. Variety hall road is almost blocked by cycle shop owners.2.The shops around the corporation fully occupies the streets.3. The five corner is totally blocked by shop owners(corner shops),4.Gandhipuram area is also have problem because of the shop owners occupation.

Even in oppanakara Street street vendors are provided. The platform for the pedestrian are blocked by the shop keepers. The pedestrian are forced to walk on the middle of the road.

The corporation allows all street hawkers to dump waste along road side especially in crowded areas and around market places.
