Delhi Police

My personal experience not good.

Compared with other states, baring Mumbai, in my opinion Delhi Police in da prevailing situation is the best in handling major events like Republic Day nd Independence day and terrorist related matters. But for other common crimes nd law and order there is much scope for improvement particularly safety of women and common man. They must increase public police interaction, take help of ex-bureucrats, Sr Citizens on local management other than local politicians. Increase SPOs by appointing Advocates nd doctors, ex-Principals, retired CPSU senior officers etc. which will prove of great help in maintaining law and order.

Duties of police are hard and has to work under adverse, urgent and unpredictable conditions having lot of limitations. Therefore in order to conquer speed. distance .traffic congestion and time police has to go high in
use of latest technological innovations Even a weakest person having no support /approach any where should
totally feel secure from any false implications if he /she is innocent .

No doubt that the Delhi police is active and working day and night but influence is necessary for proper action in right direction. Police department don't care about common people. You can check my complain DD No 36A and a written application about it on 07/05/2017 at Mehrauli Police station . It also depends police station and I have excellent experience in Parliament police station. Especially the matter related to road accidents must be taken seriously, even for small accident because the government is taking too much from the vehicles and driving person.
