Traffic management is EXTREMELY POOR . For Past many months now I have been noticing that the fear of Not wearing helmets / driving on wrong side / jumping red lights etc are on the rise . Traffic police is waiting to catch few people just for their records or for other reasons . The fear people had of Not Wearing helmets / Jumping lights / wrong side driving has vanished and they probably feel that by lining the palms they can get away with breaking the rules if caught (where ever Traffic Cops are standing) . It is Total Chaos on many roads. Specially on the road towards Kalkaji from NehruPlace by the Sharing Autos parked haphazardly. This is being done Right off the Traffic police Station near Nehru Place Flyover.

Mayur Vihar Ph3 and Kondli area there are huge vehicles parked at road side, Vehicles parking at road side should be stopped, this should be allowed only in parking are. This also help to control traffic.

Traffic Police are working under stress and strain. Mr. A.K.Sharma has rightly said that they do not have control over certain vehicles as they in hand gloves with the owners of the vehicles. DTP are only worried about private cars as it is a very good and gray area for their earnings. DTP is totally useless on Motorbikes, Scooters, Triple riders, Riding without helmets, Minors driving cars and bikes etc..........Never ending topic

sometimes it seems that traffic police does not have any control over traffic, specially Cluster Buses, Metro Feeder Buses, Battery Rickshaw, Auto Rickshaws. These are main source of jam any where. It may be seen live at Uttam Nagar T point almost all times. 1

The Police can do a lot but the situation is more a matter of governance deficiency . The police is helpless , poorly equipped and poorly trained to the changing dynamics.
