Exports are going down, we are loosing markets, the Ministry is inactive

The Dept of Commerce is very slow and completely ineffective in this fast changing world. We have a very serious problem with Imports going up while exports not keeping pace with it. Fuel prices are going up., making us more noncompetitive in the International markets. If the Ministry does not change to be pro active like the Chinese and continues to only do fire fighting we will never grow up to be an exporting giant.
