Can't make online giants accountable, Amazon etc don't disclose address even email IDs and donot offer grievance redress system, so cheated customers can get no relief at all. Ministry lies idle.
My suffering: Amazon has deceived me by denying its widely publicized promise, Bonus Offer :10% Extra cashback for prepaid order over Rs 6000 only on 10.10.18 during Great Indian Festival.
Going through full page ads in several newspapers & and reading the hidden full terms and conditions in website I bought one mobile Samsung On7 Pro worth Rs 6790. ( Order # 406-4274614-3083531) but never get assured cashback- Rs 679.00 though I fulfilled all criteria. Several emails to Amazon bore no result. Twice through Chat I was informed that there was a problem and I would get cashback soon- all futile.
In 3rd chat today 19.10.18 , I am told that conditions tell that (inter alia) all Samsung mobiles are excluded from Bonus 10% cashback!! It is simply a lie, a cheating attempt as even the hidden T&C read thus (under head) : List of excluded products and product categories >>……Samsung Mobile Phones except for………… Samsung On7 Pro. .SoSamsung On7 Pro is eligible for 10% Bonus cashback but Amazon is denying 10% extra cashback for 6 weeks.
Strangely Amazon nowhere discloses its contact details and its its chat-staffs donot inform its address!
I request Consumer Affairs Ministry to take stern steps against Amazon to stop its desperate harassment & cheating customer .
