From a country that 4000 years ago was the education capital of the world to a country that for the last 300 years has not had a single patent or white paper or innovation in any field. Indians abroad do not count - this is credit to those countries that have given them the infrastructure and opportunity to achieve. Our education needs to be more practical rather than theoretical. We need teachers who have a flair and the ability to teach. The teacher also needs to meet a high educational benchmark in order to teach...35% - 70% marks for any reason is unacceptable. We need to encourage our students to explore, innovate and discover. They are so frustrated, so lacking in every sphere that they now spend most of their time being destructive and on the streets. Let us upgrade our educational standards.
