Department of Post

As in other departments of Govt. of India, Department of Posts is also suffering on account of no replacement to the officials retiring. This is creating a huge gap as also the department diversifying adding more and more products further creating shortage of staff. Minister of Communications need to think on such issues before going ahead with their banking operations.

PO in Aminjikarai os closed most of the time.

Snail working. Opened so many services including banking but staff do not respond properly. Po staff is inactive to handle and justify the huge demand of public.

I saw post man delivering letter by riding bicycle at 1pm in summer at 42C temperature. I asked why you are delivering the letter in hot summer. He told working time 10am to 3pm. in summer it is not necessary to deliver the lettr between 11am to 2 pm , they need some flexible time to avoid traveling in heat they can deliver the letter in early morning between 7am and 10am or 3pm to 5pm.
