DHFL Pramerica a sister concern in tie up with DHFL forces its home loan customers to compulsorily take policies which are being billed along with the loan without customers consent. This causes huge burden to the customers as an addition of just Rs 1 Lakh would make you cough 2.16 times of the premium paid which is absurd. Please be beware. Though we insist that Insurance is voluntary they say that home loans would be approved by DHFL only if we take policy in DHFL Pramerica. had a bad experience with them recently. Woeking on canceling their policy for which the local people said I cannot return the policy. I have sent the policy for cancelation to the HO. Will wait and update the proceedings.
