Yes Satish, you can file a case in the consumer forum against overcharging and refusal to ply.
And yes, I too found DTDC less than professional

Recently I wanted to book a taxi at 5 am to go to railway station from banashankari 3rd stage to catch train at 6 am, the previous night at 11 pm I called almost most taxi services but non of them wanted to take booking and disconnected the line. finally Meru cabs agreed but said it would be flat 500/- ( for 10 km ) I had no choice but to agree, can we file case with consumer forum for over charging and negligence of service as it is their duty to provide services ( taxi and travels people) cost to Chennai was 600 to reach railway station is 500/- its a crime. please suggest.

Avoid using DTDC courier service. Go for any other courier services but NOT DTDC. DTDC is not eligible for one star rating also.

This branch is highly irresponsible and the staff and owner is very arrogant, ill-mannered and unprofessional as they have betrayed me twice and reluctant to pay the claim for my loss despite my paying the additional charges for insurance, packing and express delivery. I am now filing a suit against them in consumer court for false practices and bothering the customer time and again.
