The roads in east Delhi are in bad shape and condition. The roads built by the MCD does not live more than one rainy season. Tarcoal and Rodi are washed away by a little rain and haeavy rain and traffic causes potholes and sometimes the road depresses.
There is no coordination among various local bodies/ Departments . It results in reckless digging of the road by anybody and poor resotration, if it is done by the same agency. One has not to go far off for vouching the truth- the road opposite housed of D Block Preet Vihar to Madhuvan East Delhi -prominent colonies of East Delhi, worse the main road -Vikas Marg was dug up in a very calloous manner, remained in this condition for several months, posing threat to even the pedestrians, causing several accidents. The resoration is also very bad and uneven.

We have lost all the hopes as regards potholed roads and clogged drains which causes waterlogging. It's like a vikram bethaal story. kabhi nahin sudharega. Cleanliness takes a backseat in Delhi.
