We live in a housing society in close vicinity of the MV-I Metro station. It has to be said that with the PM's Swachchhata Abhiyan launched in 2014, there is very little improvement in the situation in this area. Of course people are responsible, to begin with, for the mess everywhere around. (For this too, the authorities are responsible too somehow, for they need to effectively inculcate the right values among the citizenry through education and other publicity campaigns). But the officials concerned must share a much larger share for the truancy. EDMC officials simply have no sense of dedication and responsibility. They approach their cleaning jobs as a daily chore that they must somehow do every day, and their approach is CHALTA HAI. Do minimum possible to get by! Even if you happen to see them, and urge them to do it better.

WORST, after these 5-plus years, the pavements in this area still have dogs' and even human excretion lying around oftentimes. For this reason alone, most pedestrians prefer to walk on roads rather than on pavements, thus adding to the traffic congestion and making life hazardous for all concerned.

East Delhi , especially on Vikas Marg is very bad

How many safai workers are there in your particular locality, what are their timings, who supervise them? Rather than finding answers for these, why to scrib about the condition? If we know these facts, either we presurise the local area counseller to bring it to the notice of corporation, or make the supervisor accountable. Or simply form communities and clear the dirt ourselves! Even if 100 people in a locality spend 10 minutes each in cleaning, every road and every colony in Delhi will be sparkling clean!! PM or president can only draw our attention to the problem and motivate us... It's foolish to assume they will personally come and clean the mess!

Just come to kali mata mandir street you, yourself to remark Zero or I can say minus 10. Though PM Modi is giving slogan `Swatch Bharat`, but seeing the location, the PM himself will say `Aaswatch Bharat`.

I have never seen them punctual. in addition the quality of work is also below good. i would say an average marks should be given.
