Though not good, internal roads on sector 21-c part II are in a better condition than the main connecting road between part I and II. Concrete roads being made these days in some places are a half hearted work. a) There is no provision of footpath for pedestrians. b) There is no provision of channels for rain water to flow down. c) kuchcha space on both sides of the such roads is left as it is full of malba dug out from old roads. d) there is a huge gap between the level of concrete road and old bitumin road as both are not connected. driving is hazardous.
As for the main connecting road between part I and II, less said the better. It is all full of potholes, even though the office of Police Commissioner is right on this road. With sector 46,45 and other society flats which have come up over the last few years, traffic has gone up significantly. This road should be made one way, with a separater. There is huge huge kuchcha space on both sides of this road which is all dust. While driving on this road dust flies almost in your face, specially for pedestrians. Here again, there is no provision of footpaths nor is there any provision of channels for rain water to flow down. Blocked sewer lines make matters worse.

I agree. Road conditions in Faridabad are pathetic, to say the least. It is all potholes, potholes and potholes. Even new roads dont survive a season and are washed away by a brief spell of rain or traffic. Old roads dont exist mostly. Authorities dont seem to care at all. Contractors make roads whichever way they want and go away. Assume they must be getting paid promptly. There is no quality check of the work done. In monsoon and in night at stretches where there is no light, roads are a perfect way to accidents. Roads filled with rainwater, one cannot understand where and how to go. One wrong turn and you damage your vehicle and yourself. Even die, sometimes. This is the height of callousness and total lack of transparency.

'Terrible' is the only word I can use. I dont know how MLA and MP in Faridabad travel. I think they sometimes must be travelling by road. Roads anywhere in Faridabad are in absolutely bad shape. Even new roads cannot sustain one rainy season and are washed away with huge deep potholes leaving resulting in accidents, damaged vehicles and even death.
Badkhal flyover was constructed in two parts. The new one is ok but the old one is in shambles. Even if it is repaired in patches once in a year, the patches come off with one rain and heavy traffic.
Work on all other flyovers coming up on Mathura road is going on indefinitely, without any sign of completion. It is a hard task to drive on this road. All paths are closed roads dug up.
Water logging, clogged drains, lack of footpaths, absence of space for pedestrians all add to the worse condition of roads and bridges. The situation is same in all sectors of Faridabad.
