In sector 21-C, I can see garbage strewn all around in streets and markets. Cows, dogs keep roaming the markets dirtying it further. There is no system of of garbage collection and disposal. A brief 10 minute rain makes matters worse. It becomes difficult to enter the market because rain water collects all around concrete roads. This is because there is no arrangement for rain water to channel down or out. Further, old bitumen road malba has been thrown on both sides of concrete roads. Both sides of concrete have become dumping ground for malba and garbage. Sweepers are seen rarely on roads. They collect kachra and burn it openly. No authority seems to be looking into these issues.
Going through the market in Old Faridabad itself would reflect the status of garbage managment. If an honest statement is made, we public would not like to walk even with wearing shoes. Every here and there you would find garbage, places spiied etc. One will not be able to see even a single dustbin. Half of the road is occupied unauthorisedly by the shopkeepers keeping their goods on the road meant for walking. People dont find space to walk through which gets further exaggerated with the entry of car which causes traffic jam even for the pedestrian what to talk of cyclist, bikes etc. People drive in the market by keeping Horn button pressed which adds through sound pollution to the Air pollution.

Visit to Faridabad Old Market will rate MCF to the poorest. One would not like to even walk through the roads which remain full of spits, garbage etc. City of Palwal must be far better than Faridabad as far as aesthetic is concerned.

The Municipal Corporation of Faridabad has failed to address the problem of garbage despite Faridabad being under consideration as smart city. It looks to be a deserted place and may be even worst than Palwal city. One can find heaps of garbage at many places.
