Faridabad Police

Faridabad traffic needs more maneuvering because of new ongoing construction works on GT road.

Auto Rickshaws are out of control in these days. They do not care for any other commuters for rules , They never give side and nor they obey the traffic rules. Most of the drivers on autos are under age.
One more thing is to be taken care that these days , auto mafia are working at Metro Stations, They are charging as per their self decesion and even than also they force people to wait for next train to take full of rickshaw. I think that police need to control them.

traffic police should be seen to be following traffic rules themselves, before expecting general public to do the same. i have seen many traffic police staff driving bikes without any helmet.
i have seen traffic police staff talking at redlight and bikers driving past unchecked. what is the use standing there if you are not checking any defaulters.

There are some genuine efforts, we see more personnel then seen in past.
They need to be given pollution mask and better working conditions. I saw policemen directing traffic in rain without any raincoat/umbrella.
Many a times traffic policemen are managing traffic at night, where they stand, it doesn’t have proper light. Sometime they are standing on road, it’s unsafe for them as they are not visible.
One observation, we see barriers/road blocks put up in many sector roads. Can these personnel be deputed to manage traffic in peak hours also?
I am not aware if we have website which can update us on traffic jams/ diversions etc.
In markets and NIT area parking on road side is a big reason for traffic Jams.
At night there are vehicles with halogen lights, which literally blinds, we need more policing at night.
