Garbage trucks smell so badly that it is difficult even to drive behind one. The main reason for this is that garbage is allowed to collect for several days before its finally collected. The regularity of garbage collection is not monitored. Area Groups and Local Area Associations are not consulted by the MCGM in an effort to keep localities clean.
Secondly, wherever there is a garbage dump, the ENTIRE AREA is littered with rubbish, and crawls with flies, mosquitoes and cockroaches, not to mention germs. These areas are extremely harmful for the health of people staying in the vicinity and lead to proliferation of diseases. The Municipal Corporation has somehow never thought it fit or necessary to fumigate these areas.
All in all, the job of garbage collection is poorly implemented, always behind schedule, and carried out with complete apathy. MCGM seems to be answerable to no one in this regard !!

Household Garbage Collection issue for working class. Municipality doesn't collect garbage even if segregated and asks us to throw the garbage to the vans. As we are unavailable during day time it becomes really difficult to dispose garbage.
