Garbage collection

The Garbage collection by BMC is good and it is done every day. However it is observed that workers in the process of transfer of garbage from bin to the truck drop some garbage on the ground, which is not picked up by them.

Maybe the rate of garbage generation is higher than the frequency of collection but there seems to be no end to the garbage issue in Mumbai. Garbage collectors create another huge problem of traffic congestion due to the timing and haphazard movement of garbage trucks and the half-trained personnel who work at their own pace.

Generally BMC is trying best to control and lift max. possible garbage. However due to uncontrolled influx of population and uncontrolled encroachment on any land by population from all over India; It has become impossible for BMC to discipline Mumbaikars. First Govt must stop influx and encroachment and allowing any one to build juggi anywhere according one convinence.

Garbage is dumped on N S Road no. 1, Bhaidas Bhutta Chowk, opposite Bhaidas Hall on main road at JVPD Scheme, Vile Parle (W), Mumbai,
No garbage bins are kept so it is scattered all around on footpath and road making it breeding space for rodents and mosquitoes, also it creates traffic jams,
Each society should have its own garbage bin and the same should be collected by the garbage van, instead of the practice of dumping garbage on roads and footpath

Terrible garbage collection at Shastri Nagar in Santacruz (West). Garbage dump near residences and animals eating junk food. It stinks, make the roads small and gives rise to a lot of mosquitoes. Very unhappy about this.
