1. Do not expect any logic with Go Air. 'It is Heads I Win, Tails you loose'.
2. We traveled from Pune to Bengaluru in July. Flight was at 6.30 PM and it was more than 2 Hrs. late Go Air didn't have courtesy to offer even a cup of tea. We reached finally home at 11.30 PM and had to go without dinner and 50% extra for Taxi.
3. However, recently when we traveled Bengaluru to Port Blair on 16th Nov. Flight was at 2.45 PM. Due to delay in women's security check we reached gate at 2.30PM and counter was showing Port Blair but no one was at counter though it was 'Aero Bridge' boarding. Some people were also waiting so we thought flight has arrived and they will start boarding. To our horror plane took off without us at 2.47 PM in front of us. Their explanation was 'Bengaluru is a 'Silent Air Port' so no announcements.' Secondly, it is in fine print on Boarding pass that Gate closes 25 min. before departure. I am sure plane was empty and they had all the time to retrieve our luggage (4 bags) too.
4. Fortunately, Go Air accommodated us next day (without charge probably sensing their mistake). Next day no one turned up till 2. 25 PM at counter. This was no 'Aero bridge' boarding so Bus leaves at 2.35 PM and still take off was on time. Flight was 1/3 empty.
5. This is achieving and boasting punctuality at the cost of customer.
6. We requested our Return flight also to be postponed by a day since we had booked hotel 4 days and whole program. Reply was pay Rs. 2,250/- per passenger for change of date i.e. Rs. 9,000/- for 4 of us all Sr. Citizens. Fortunately, Hotel booked there accommodated without charge for one night cancellation but they would not have refunded money for 4th day.
7. We finally paid extra for date change and that day's flight was only 1/3 full. one could sleep on 3 seats.
8. Go Air wants to make money by 'Other income' rather than giving 'Friendly' service and retain customer.
9. Funniest part was we had booked flight 3 months before and that day's price was more than Rs. 500/- less.
10. We have decided never to travel by Go Air again.

We traveled only two or three times.
Once we couldn't travel irrespective of confirmed tickets reaching in time due to over booking. We are Senior citizens and most important fact was there were two empty seats in business class & we had to take very late flight reaching Pune from Bengaluru at 1.00 AM.
Second time we were booked on Port Blair flight from Bengaluru, 4 of us again Senior Citizens. Checked in Reached to Airobridge entry point. waiting for crew there. Board showing Port Blair no body turned up and flight took of on next 25/30 min. They had downloaded our luggage. They offered next days flight without a word but no extension of a day for return flight but charged higher price as of that day.
