It is the local administrative body responsible for street lighting, road sweeping, garbage collection and disposal etc for areas under Bandlaguda Jagir.

There is no provision of collecting garbage, providing tap water facilities etc to the persons living within the panchayat. There is no street light on the main roads. Also the street lights provided are insufficient to walk and travel during night in the village roads. This infrastructures including roads are to be repaired to make it convenient for the public to have a proper access to the main road. Village and Panchayat had not made any provision for waste management, picking of plastic garbage and the occupants are facing lots of problems to dispose the waste and plastics. Also there is no tap water supply available to the residents except their well, to meet in case of emergency and other conditions.

The road at the Perumbakkam signal towards leading to Jalladianpet has been damaged for the past one month. Very Dangerous spot any thing may happen at any time . Since that particular location belongs to local Perumbakkam panchayat the Highways department city roads division at sydapet does not take care off . At least 1.2 m depth from the main road . Since this road connects Pallikaranai at one location there is sound 10000 vehicles crossing in this junction. Police are standing in the signal for traffic control. But no action by the local Perumbakkam panchayat or by Highways drain. But the road was damaged only by the action of Highways department constructing drain in their road. I think there is no proper coordination between them.
It needs to be attended on top priority by both department s and also with the help of builders constructing 1000 s of houses and also by theSt John School Bharathiya Vidhya Bhavan which is just 500 meters from the Signal

the garbage collecting team demands money for collecting the garbage on monthly basis. They ill treat and use filthy language to the citizens who don't pay. More over when complained to the Panchayat , they reverted saying that they are not paying the salary to the garbage collectors and they were forced to meet the same from the collections.. and also they are facing the manpower shortage in the job. what is happening with the Panchayat system.Why they are not payed.
