Paper planning is always glittering. Practical things are contrary..Masab tank cross roads area with dense population & many apartments , Garbage collection is more. Contractor cum supervisor sits at spot a did not allow dumping of garbage in the metal containers, fearing extra trips for the vehicle. Directs all sweepers pertains to near by complexes, to dump at distant place of garbage bins. The sweepers instead of going to distant places they dump on the near by road side.(carrying garbage to distant places is difficult task for the daily wage workers.) Garbage riksha wala is fixing his own rate for transport of garbage. The VIP officers will never inspect and solve the matters.

The work of garbage collection is done once in 4 days. The stored garbage is stinking.The wet & dry garbage separate collection has totally failed not implemented. The municipal park garbage is not collected . The electrical wing cuts the tree branches on roads, the waste is left lying on streets for weeks.The statements of bureaucracy &leaders in papers is glittering. The facts at grass root level is totally different. The street light fails, to repair it takes one month. The road central part excavated for drainage work , one year lapsed no repair of road. The complaints are not attended by lethargic bureaucracy.

At Old Bowenpally, Mallikarjuna colony, Road No.3, The garbage collection is done in once in 4 days. The wet & dry collection is not done & failed.The bureaucratic paper statements are big, at grass root level the picture is different.

Mallikarjuna Colony of Old Bowenpally, the garbage collection is once in 3 days. This is after giving diesel vehicles, earlier with ricksha pulling garbage collection is regular & daily. The out sourcing labor engaged for road cleaning , open drains cleaning are most irregular. The public park available at Road no. 3 is used by many people. The wastage like fallen leaves, branches trimmed, waste material left over by public is not collected once in 15 days.

Comparatively some improvement in our area

In KPHB Phase 3 the boys coming to collect the Garbase are very rude and they don't come daily. They demand money more than the usual. No control from GHMC, not sure whom should be complained this.

Garbage is collected from Households in Banjara Hills , even the segregated garbage gets mixed contributing to its volume.
Handling and disposal of garbage very unsatisfactory .
