MY Rating for Hyderabad is very poor. There is no proper balance between sweeping workers and vehicles for lifting the carbage. Hence they clean and leave the heaps of the garbage on the roads and simply tell they will lift after wards.

Garbage collecting people come with rickshaws every day in the streets... they seem to be doing job ok...it seems.. there are sweepers who are seen early in the morning sweeping roads.. perhaps they are part of this clean up... however, there is no garbage bin within 200 m area... what is the expected radius of coverage for a garbage bin... will people walk that much distance for throwing garbage?

the garbage bins get full.. always smelling and stinking too badly.. it is horrible to pass near the garbage bins... is there some gas or chemical that should be put near the gargage bins ? so that the smell does not affect the passers by.. it is terrible really.

It is worst now. No more to write.

The garbage is not regularly collected from home due to various reasons. The lorry is not regular in collecting garbage from the pick up points. People do not hand over the garbage to the vehicle persons as they have to pay 50 rupees charges. They drop them near the transformers where it is very much a common place to see garbage. The municipal staff themselves bring garbage from different areas and dump in front of residence and claim the spot to be the pick up point. The sanitary inspector does not visit the area and does not respond to the complaints. The situation has not improved at all, atleast in our area in budwel near rajendranagar even after so much hue and cry on swach bharat.The people in the area also do not want to keep the surroundings clean. They clean their homes and throw the garbage in front of the neighbour's house. Unless there is a change in the attitude of the people. I don't think swach bharat will have any effect.
