On 1st March 2016 by an E-Mail to GHMC Commissione with copy to Local Circle was sent on Pedestrain ,Hawker ,Vehicular Problem in narrow Hyderabad (SULTAN BAZAR) ares with caution on security but no action was taken nor reply was given to me.

Street vendors and hawkers in Hyderabad is a menace. In Hyderabad, people walk/ drive on roads which is left after occupied by vendors. Secunderabad/BHEL/Ameerpet/KPHB to name a few areas. Helped by corrupt officials who take bribe from them and leave them to harass citizens.

I stay at Anand Nagar Colony Khairatabad. Hawker used to see vegetables every Wednesday (weekly market) and used to be well organised in a bye-lane in the colony. Now for some reason, the Hawkers have been asked to remove from Bye Lanes and so they are forced to shift their shop/s to the main road, causing a lots of disturbance to the main traffic. Hawkers should be give specified place by the GHMC and they should be permitted to do their business without any fear and should be asked to keep the place clean. How is the Police and GHMC permitting these Hawkers to sell on main road causing disturbance to the traffic and commuters. Why GHMC cannot give road side shops licences and monitor such practices through local corporators.

There is practically no management of hawkers and vendors in Hyderabad. I am forced to give one star because there is nothing lesser than this

There is no vendor/hawker management. It is in shambles. Pedestrians and motorists find it very cumbersome and inconvenient.
