Road condition is horrible in most parts of Hyderabad, I am here for last 14 years. never seen such bad conditions. Earlier we used to give best roads example of Hyderabad and worst in Bihar & Patna. Now see Bihar & Patna roads are best, did not damage even after heavy rains and flood so we can not blame rain for bad roads.
The road condition are poor at some places. Best will be when ever the compliant received they should act on priority. All the major junction should have cement brick road as it force the driver to slow down the vehicle. Provide footpath and their size depends on the number of pedestrian as user. More pedestrian much wider footpath. Make uniform lane number on the road to avoid traffic jam. At many places there are four lane merged to two lane and this make traffic jam. All the heavy vehicles should be in the last lane of the road.
Rome was not built in a day. It takes time for any development. The citizens participation also plays an important role in the development. If every citizen does their duty sincerely no lapses will be found.Govt. alone can not do everything. I have seen many people throwing trash on the roads though the Trash bins are kept. My feeling is that more publicity is required to get awareness in the masses. The Govt. or GHMC should provide more Dust bins on the roads and violators should be punished with out any second thought. unless the quality and transparency is maintained in the works the roads can not be maintained properly. Leakage should not be in the funds.
It appears good few times and bad at many times. Even when they lay the road they lay with least attention to quality and uniformity. It looks strange that they lay only a part of the stretch on a road not covering road fully horizontally or vertically. When a road is patched with a new layer it would go bad within a year and it makes us feel that it is intentionally done so by contractor or GHMC so that another contract can be given. If this is the case for roads in Banjara Hllls and Jubilee Hills imagine the fate of tier 2 localities which are usually neglected.
