Many main roads are in dire need of repair, take for instance the main MG Road leading from Sikandarpur Metro Station..when it rains water stagnates so much at this junction that you have to literally swim across. Sushant Lok area near Marriott Hotel is another place full of pot holes, in case a pregnant lady travels on this road she will definitely deliver her baby no need to pay hospital fees. Sector 45 Kanhai Road is full of pot holes that this causes so much traffic jams in peak hours. MCG has to take immediate action to rectify the roads in Gurgaon and make it livable..we have so many multinational companies in Gurgaon and so many expats working here that it is so shameful to see them suffering through the pot holes and bad roads.

Horrible condition of roads.. If it rains for one hour the road gets washed.. Come and check sector 40 market road. and its a very busy road all mornings and evenings connecting NH8 to unitech business park.

We are able to see only main roads in Gurgaon getting repaired, that too with substandard material that wears off within a few months. The pot-holed Rajesh Pilot marg is a glaring example of negligence and apathy of the MCG that is a major cause of frequent accidents on the stretch leading to Gurgaon-Faridabad highway. The internal roads are usually built only once at the time of setting up of the infrastructure for a new colony. Most of the internal roads in Gurgaon are in a real bad shape. With the new government coming in, we had high hopes of things getting better but surprisingly, the situation has worsened. MCG seems to be a defunct organization that only collects money without giving anything in return to the society. It is high time, it gets replaced with a totally new system of public and industry participation for effective governance.

The sector road in Sector 17A from market to HUDA Garden Gate is not wide enough to accommodate the traffic during morning school hours and there is always a Jam like situation. The drivers of the school buses are in damn hurry and often cause jams. This delays the movement all the more. In fact there is no proper point from where these buses can take a U turn to head towards schools. Also the road is very narrow vis a vis the volume of traffic as no One wants to wait even for a second thereby causing enormous traffic jams. I suggest the following may help clear the situation:
1. Straight Road from Sector 17A market to the gate may be widened. Size of foot paths on the row of houses side may be reduced for this purpose.
2. There is no proper turning point at the bus stop in front of Mother Dairy, causing long line of buses on both sides causing traffic jam at this point. A smooth turning circle may be carved out by taking some space from the HUDA employees houses and some space near the Mother dairy.
3. A divider is made on the road as has been done on New Railway Road.

Hope the above will eliminate the Road Jam Like situation.

1) They took 1.5 years to relay the road in our area. 1 week of rains, road is back to potholes.

In the present work culture, even potholes are not filled, forget about good roads. They are laying roads without building gutters and pavements. After they build the road, all the malba & other junk is left lying on sides of the road (in addition to junk by citizens). Dirty work indeed. We seem to have gone back 15 years.
