Gurgaon Municipality needs to proactively clean the city with state-of-the-art sound and healthy solutions, not with open trailers with spilling garbage, inter alia. Local dumping is encouraged when garbage is not collected regularly. Local dumps are encouraged, because city dumps are non-existent in Gurgaon.
Undomesticated Animals roam the city unimpeded and these animals become traffic disasters. Undomesticated animals have even taken to housing societies in this city unimpeded causing threat to residents. Some RWAs have formed shelters for these strays, but they only take in cats and dogs, because these can be adopted by residents. What about pigs and cattle?
Roads in Gurgaon are a shocker. Pitted and potted with potholes and crevices, Gurgaon is a threat to persons and vehicles. Indeed; MCG has been doing patchwork and laying blacktops, but only in certain parts. There is a slight improvement in this area, but much more is required in short order. Can MCG succeed?
Traffic is the worst alongside with cleanliness. Vehicles travelling against traffic is the most hazardous and the most terrifying to drivers. Autos and motorcyclists are next and they should have separated lanes to travel from those of four-wheelers. Commercial vehicles must have separate routes and lanes. Police must enforce the Traffic Ordinances in this City and those challaned must pay their fines in Court and, not pay bribes or pay-off cops on the road. Every constable must not except cash in lieu of challans.
Oversight is fundamental.
