Gurgaon is the City of Pigs and the reason for that is lack of Garbage disposal system existing in the city. Most of the garbage is dumped in vacant plots and is left to be consumed by pigs or burnt openly causing serious health issues to all. All the schemes like Odd-Even are an eye-wash unless basic civic amenities are provided and Municipality does its job. Currently it is a blame game between HUDA and MCG and no takes ownership of these issues.
I live in old dlf colony Gurgaon. Monkeys numbering about 15 -20 are daily roaming in morning hours between 7 to 9 AM. It is very difficult to go to backyard during that time. Many times they tear of the clothes and two times entered our house and ran away with eatables. We are very scared of them . I have made many complaints but of no use. In addition stray dogs and pigs are also moving freely. So far there has been no use of making complaints.
I live in Sector-45, Gurgaon and right in-front of HUDA community center a main road has been turned into open garbage dump. Stray animals have started gathering there in huge numbers and they have injured several locals. I sent a mail to MCG copying all senior officers in but no one bothered to reply.
