There is hardly any place in Gurgaon, even in main public places (hospitals and Bus stand) where I could see perfectly cleaned and functioning Toilets). Regarding availability its hard to find even if there are any. People who want avoid pissing on roads make use of Restaurants and Malls around to release themselves. There is a need of Toilets ( permanent fixtures or mobile ones) at every 1 km. They need to cleaned and Sanitized regularly Maintained regularly due to break fix There has to be indications visible for commuters on turns, T points, Circles for near by toilets.
Apart from Public conveniences MCD should also focus on Garbage cleaning and Road side cleaning regularly. I see MCD staff once a week or even more or around Diwali when they expect tips from households.
There is no control of Posters on Electricity pillars, walls and even on red light pillars even obstructing the view for travelers for red lights. This causes accidents on roads too. The road side boundaries which and tunnels for drainage made in Sector 9A was a very good step however, are not maintained regularly. The shop keepers break them to get their vehicle parked or board their luggage for shops. They even keep their marketing boards on those platforms which are for pedestrians to walk. They need to be controlled. I would suggest a wall to be constructed on road side so they cant run their shops on roads where is no planned markets and penalize them with challans if they break government property.
I want to give MCD 5 stars for their effort in developing Cemented and tiled roads in Colonies and Villages in Gurgaon which make them much cleaner than before. But they need to be maintained and penalize those who deliberately spoil them.
