The is no law and order when it comes to managing traffic in Gurgaon. The job is handed over to Marshalls who are helpless as public does not care a damn about them. Tinted glasses, faulty number plates, vehicles without number plates is a norm in Gurgaon. Infact it is a matter of pride for people in Gurgaon to disrespect the traffic rules.

I think there is tremendous need to enforce road discipline. Authorities generally target private vehicles which are an easy catch on account of so many violations but talk about above...guess no one has answers or action plan. Government may keep on increasing the lanes but unless road discipline is ensured, the plans will just fall off.
Hyderabad police being active during the nights has brought in a lot of confidence to ordinary citizens like me. Keep it up although I think police needs to interact more with civil society and make themselves more approachable
