The immunity to any action is responsible for all these mischief. Elevation to higher level through the ladder of corruption prevents senior officials to take any action against sub ordinates. Unfortunately, no honest person will seek government job, one has to have a corrupt vision to join such jobs. Any honest person shall feel out of water and will be bullied to leave. Haryana is the heaven for unscrupulous officials throughout all categories. Unless a performance based appraisal is introduced in government departments (for promotions) rather than time bound manner nothing will change and public shall suffer. Current PM must appreciate that India needs very strong law against defaults like in many other countries whereall he has been travelling. It is of no use to "aam janta" whether India' image is brightening to other countries but whether he is getting what he deserves without being cheated. Just passing the buck to each state is an escape route. Not only DHBVN but also HUDA, MCG, etc fall in the same corrupt category.
1. Power interruption is very often and almost every day at the time when you require it either for water supply or sleep after the exhaustive day work. 2. Voltage fluctuation remains extremely high and most of the time the voltage remains low demanding high current to run in house domestic equipments. 3. Low voltage often cause failure of domestic equipment but DHBVN is never accountable. 4. The tripping power supply even with small sense of wind is always there. 5. The toll free lines are rarely answered and if at all it is with lame excuses. 6. Linemen do not even refrain making wrongly accountable in house connections for their faults and try to misguide rather than providing service. 7. During past two months time it has been observed that they disconnect the supply around 8-9 PM which gets resumed around 2-3 AM. The water supply also starts around 4 AM for which every one has to remain alert Al time. 8. The power interruption at different time puts the water supply totally in disarray . 9. While trimming the tree branches they do not care for its fall and so in my case the branch was cut total carelessly which fell on the supply cable damaging the pole holding it. Who should bear the cost of damage?

Careless for handling tree branches hanging over the transmission lines which causes short circuiting the supply, sparks etc. When attending the same the workmen on duty do not care for the damage to overhead connecting cables to respective houses which are prone to damage with cut branches falling on it. Why the transmission line is not underground ed?
While there seems to be no shortage of power but it looks line men or their immediate Supervisors are real notorious in Gurgaon and they rule the roost. In the name of trimming trees (which is actually vandalizing and mercilessly deshaping the trees) they shut down power for whole day. On slightest hint of storm or thunder they do not hesitate to cut power. They cut power whent it is the time to supply water. God only can save us. They talk of uninterrupted power situation on extra payment. Please do not fall prey to such gimmick. It is only to raise tarrif. When there is a power shortage it is not understood why minimum consumption charge.
Yesterday around 6pm when thunderstorm hit Gurgaon, the power lines were off immediately and restored only past midnight, although the storm was over in about one hour.
This has become regular feature besides frequent break downs and long power cuts. We the residents are paying highest rates for power in Gurgaon but services are totally 'third class'. BJP government has not done any improvement in power supply in 24x7. And Gurgaon err Gurugram is called millennium City.
