In December 2015, BBMP did not pick up garbage from Shalimar Apts. for 12 days. The Health Inspector suggested that we hire a private contractor, which we did and negotiated him down to 5G a month from 8G.
We are already paying garbage cess to BBMP on annual basis. We are happy with the service.
However, BBMP has no control on commercial establishments dumping mixed waste onto the street on Desouza Road , behind Devatha Plaza (Ward 111, off Residency Road, opposite Bishop Cotton Boys' school.

BBMP Health and Engineering Depts have no control over the offenders for reasons best known to them

Normal daily @6 am and once in 2 days door to door collection

Garbage collection, i rate as poor.I am told bribe helps! But the road is swept clean.It is an improvement
