Hyderabad Police

I think the Hyderabad Police are more responsive and understanding than before. While the traffic is bad, I am aware that the police strength in this is not enough. Also they are not provided respite from heat, dust and pollution. Add to that interference by influencers and we have a bigger problem. Do we see any citizen adhere to a traffic signal in the absence of a policeman -very few.

People like me had highest hopes on Hon"ble ModiSab"s Government in the begining i e year 2014 particularly that he woud correct the erring judiciary & bureaucracy(corrupt & incompetent) more particularly certain IPS cadre offficers to mend their wrong ways & functioning for the cause of General of public, but regret to inform that I am totally disappointed & yet to find rays of improvement of administrtion of these categories who have hijacked selfishly , the fruits of independence passed on to us by our lateNoble Freedom Fighters who laid their lives, every thing for the cause of a "Common Man" of this Great mother Land,treating this country as their pocket burroughs for personal wealth maximation illegally, preaching cermons of provisions of Constitution to gullible public. I am equally disappointed to state that there no proper systems to at least acknowledge the grievances received from the public & informing the status of the same. File disposal & administration( certain police personeel , they themselves involved in illeagal Call money rackects, supporting wrong doers ,harassment of public illeagally,lockup deaths etc)in Home depts is far from satisfaction in both the states of AP & Telanagana Govts.One has to back to old system that prevailed during Noble personality ,Lal Bahadur Shastry Sab"s (former PM, India)administration to know more about prudent administration of Govt. Even present appointement of Governors"s system/continuing the same of former UPA regime is disappointing in as much that instead of appointing certain former,retired IPS officers Govt could have appointed intellectual , honest ,efficient Party Workers who care for common man & poor .In the Good olden days Govt used to appoint eminent,retired ICS (indian Civil Serrvice ) officers whose outstanding performance in serving public is no match at all in all respects( because they are straight forward officers who hardly knows lies, crookery etc ) vis-a-vis the current generation, certain retired bureacrats turned Governors as post retirement gift for loyalty to those in powers but not DUTY.Infact the functioning of police home depts needs lot of improvement in both states i.e AP & Telangana though a lot reports are being poured into Union GoVt"s Home Ministry that both the govts are exceedingly doing well with lot of publicity while user public are suffering a lot.It is high time that Central Govt to make serious introspection in this case & enquire the factual position as well as the reports submitted by top authorities. A Country which donot utilise the talent of intellectuals but relies on the advices of selfish time-servers is bound to suffer like ours(people) & there is no exception.

hyderabad city buses are not stopping at busstops and they are stopping middle of the road . autos are also stopping where ever they want without giving indicators

Hyderabad police have turned a blind eye to traffic management. Few motorcyclists wear helmet. It is common to see three or more people riding on a bike. People routinely cross the stop line at traffic signals. Auto rikshaws are overloaded and no one bothers. The Home Minister is the weak-link in the cabinet.He is simply incompetent and inappropriate for his job.Parking places are not marked out on roads and police issue e-challans to hapless car drivers for parking in a supposedly no parking area.It requires a herculean effort to set matters right and I see no evidence of anything being done in this direction.

The traffic police should be left alone to do their duty without political interference.Only then can we rate them meaningfully.Presently we are forced to mark them low, as most of the times they are just mute spectators and do not really try to enforce road rules.
