Hyderabad Police

Police who are seen regularly are the TRAFFIC POLICE. In the area where I travel, I have seen that there is no control on the traffic nor the people have no intention to follow traffic rules. Police do not care. They come into the scene only after the incident and even one is violating the traffic. If the CC TVs are working in cross road, if we view the clippings, at least we can see one voilation for two to three minutes. Going wrong side is common. Bus traffic (TSRTC) is horrible. specially RTC bus drivers occupy all the road in two to three lanes blocking the entire road. They do not follow ques. Police are also not worried. In the name of providing video cams on the traffic police etc etc are only for media not for public. Now a days the Traffic Police have collection agents at the chourasta. Coming to general policing, I have not come accross any opportunity to visit the police station I was told that when a person went to police station to vouch good character character of a poor women who was summoned to police station (for theft) he was told by police straight away that bring to our notice If any thing is there against the person and we are not here to hear about good things of this women. Police in the station are required to offer chicken biriyani etc etc. apart from what not not. Why we have to rate. such an organisation. It is like closing the nose when we walk by the side of ganda naala, without showing any reaction and breath good air when we pass.

I did not find police help anywhere in the hyderabad city..like on the roads,bus stations,railway stations,malls.. they sit in the stations and behaves like they are the bosses of the people,forgetting the basic fact they are servants to the people.They respect politicians only .Better not to talk much about corruption (direct pick pocketing). To my knowledge .. chennai is having the best police service..so far .
