Questionable practices. They expect a minimum balance of Rs 10000/- in an account. If one is unable to maintain that they should make the account doormat. Instead they wait for us to deposit amount in that account and suddenly without any intimation adjust the amount against the minimum balance charges. In a Dmat connected account I was unable to maintain the minimum balance for couple of years. Later suddenly when I got 40 k form my insurance and I wanted to reinvest I deposited it in that account. To my surprise they adjusted 18K towards the MB charges for about 6 years. I am a retired employee and my earning is suddenly eaten away by the bank. When I represented they told me to avoid such things in future I should maintain minimum balance. They should have closed my account or made it dormant when I um unable to pay MB charges for six months. Basic Cheats.

I have been ICICI bank customer since many years. I have very different view about the bank. The online banking is very safe and the site is very user friendly. I often use it for various purposes. During online banking, we are required to confirm some information from debit cards as security measure to ensure that the facility is not being misused by unauthorised person.

The bank branch services also have been excellent. I have accessed my account from various branches of different cities and states without any problem. Even at the peak of demonetisation, when I approached the bank in remote part of UP, i received very satisfying services. The staff including the managers have been extremely polite, professional and helpful.
The helplines of the banks also are very good for telephone based inquiry ad assistance.

I have also approached the relationship mangers by e mails and telephones and they too have been very helpful.

I would like to record my experience with ICICI bank as excellent, rating it 4*.
