ICICI Direct : there system is very complex and interested in making money by any means. i.e. If you need to invest in Liquid funds, there is no entry fee, but ICICI direct is able to extract its share by some means as some charges or levies. Its not for small investors, ICICI direct is only for BIG and SMART investors.

A bank with neat environment but quiet crowded. I would prefer doing business online than visiting to the bank. Customer service not very efficient and takes long time. Still too much of paper work but definitely better than many nationalised banks.

Senior Citizens PO / Bank scemes

Senior citizens who do not get pension have to depend on their meager retirement benefits and interest earned on them. But, now the interest rates on SCSS and MIS have been drastically reduced putting extreme hardship on senior citizens. Please revise the interest rates to senior citizens to at least 10 %. Also think of giving additional ad hoc amount every month to pension-less senior citizens. Matter urgent. Finance ministry has put us in lurch in these days of growing cost of living.
